Chattahoochee Injury Law Roots of Responsibility Scholarship

Chattahoochee Injury Law is a personal injury law firm that is based out of Pooler, Georgia where we represent those who have been injured by the negligence of others.Our commitment to protecting those who have been harmed by another’s negligence is evident through awards and accolades received from y Super Lawyers, Avvo, and Best Lawyers, but most importantly, our former clients. We handle a wide array of cases from bicycle accidents to dog bites to slip and falls, and more. We have helped clients obtain settlements as large as $5.6 million, but no matter the size, every client’s injury matters to us. We understand how a small action can greatly impact the lives of others, which is why we have decided to announce this scholarship.

Through the Chattahoochee Injury Law Roots of Responsibility Scholarship, we are offering a $1,000 scholarship available to students across the country who demonstrate a strong commitment and insights into individual responsibility in preventing harm. We invite those interested to apply with a short essay addressing the questions below, focusing on how injuries and the legalities surrounding them have shaped their life and will continue to shape their future. Eligibility Criteria

This scholarship is open to any student who is currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or professional program in the United States. This includes accredited community college students as well as high school seniors and students who possess a GED who have been accepted to or are enrolled in an accredited program.

The scholarship applicant must demonstrate their commitment to promoting responsibility, accountability, and the prevention of avoidable harm in their essay.

All eligible candidates must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

Essay Questions

Respond to the following questions in an essay of 1,000 words or less:

  • How can individuals and organizations better uphold their responsibilities to prevent avoidable injuries?
  • Can you describe a situation that shaped your understanding of accountability and its impact on others?
  • How will your education help you promote responsible decision-making in your future career or community involvement?
